Bishop Lunas spearheads the Diocesan Schools Pre-Diocesan Synod Consultation

Most Rev. Ronald I. Lunas, STL. D.D. led the synod consultation among the 16 Diocesan Schools in the Diocese of Pagadian on September 7, 2022, at the Saint Columban College gymnasium.

The administrators, staff, teachers, and students attended the said consultation process who were grouped to form part of the Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). They shared their experiences on communion, participation, and mission.

The discussion centered on relationships with administration, colleagues, and students, including administration, benefits, essential services, curriculum, facilities, and many more. The FGDs results will be used as baseline data to complete the preparatory document for the upcoming Diocesan Synod sometime next year.

Further, the consultation process was also perceived to create measures for improving the diocesan schools as the evangelizing arms of the diocese. The consultation ended with fellowship lunch.
